Albizia saman or Samanea Saman is a leguminous tree native to South America, Southeast Asia, Pasific islands and Hawai. It is an evergreen tree growing up to 25 m (82 ft) tall with a diameter of  40 m (130 ft). Samanea Saman primarily cultivated as shade tree.
