Bougainvillea is a genus of about 18 species of shrubs, vines, or small trees  native to South America. They are  (mostly) evergreen  or semi-evergreen  flowering plants . The plant was discovered in Brazil 1768, by French Botanist. They are thorny, woody vines growing anywhere from 1-12 m (3-40 ft) tall or small tree ( Bougainvillea Arborea) grows up to 9 m (30 ft). As vines, they can be trained to stay bushy as pot plants.

Bougainvillea Arborea is fast growing bushy tree. It is thornless and fragrant Bougainvillea.
